Extremely rare Field Marshall Wellington Non Local Anglo Canadian copper penny token undated. Obverse: Bust of the Duke of Wellington in braided uniform to the left above crossed laurel branches with legend: “FIELD MARSHALL WELLINGTON”. Reverse: Britannia seated holding olive sprig with sailing ship on the horizon and legend: “ONE PENNY TOKEN”. Plain edge. Struck on a Bristol sheathing Manufactory token. Listed in Paul & Bente Withers' "British Copper Tokens 1811-1820" as "RRR - EXTREMELY RARE". Good collectable condition with evidence of the underlying token, deposit on obverse, see photograph.
