Reverse: Legend on three lines in centre within wreath and round periphery: “WORCESTER CITY AND COUNTY TOKEN * 1811 * VALUE ONE PENNY”. Centre-grained (\\\\\) edge. Issued by The House of Industry (Workhouse). Listed in Withers' "British Copper Tokens 1811-1820" as "R - RARE". Reasonable collectable condition, see photograph.
