Tunstead & Happing (Norfolk) copper penny token dated 1812. Obverse: Legend on three lines in centre and within border around periphery: “TUNSTEAD & HAPPING • ONE PENNY TOKEN • 1812”. Reverse: A wheat sheaf with legend: “PAYABLE AT THE CORPORATION HOUSE”. Centre grained edge (\\\\\). Tunstead and Happing were separate towns sharing same Corporation House which served as a workhouse for the poor of both areas. Good collectable condition, see photograph.
