Chaston's Lowestoft Fisheries Penny 1811

Chaston’s Lowestoft (Suffolk) copper penny token dated 1811. Obverse: Legend on three lines in centre within double circle and ornaments above and below, and around periphery: “NON SIBI SED PATRIÆ ONE PENNY TOKEN PAYABLE AT I CHASTON’S LOWESTOFT”. Reverse: Commerce, seated and leaning on anchor, pointing to ship on horizon with legend: “SUCCESS TO THE LOWESTOFT FISHERIES 1811”. Centre-grained edge (\\\\\). John Chaston was a linen and woollen draper, and bank agent with a business in Lowestoft. Nice collectable condition, see photograph.
