Obverse: Castle tower entrance with portcullis, sailing ship in background surrounded by garter with crossed arms holding a snake and scales above with legend: “VIRTUTE ET INDUSTRIA • 1811 •”. Reverse: Prince of Wales plumed feathers with legend: “ONE PENNY TOKEN • BRISTOL & SOUTH WALES •”. Centre grained edge (\\\\\).
