Elizabeth I (1558-1603) third coinage (base issue), sixpence, mint mark star (1601/1602). Obverse: Royal coat of arms with legend: "*ELIZABETH D.G. ANG FR ET HIBER RE", (Elizabeth by the grace of God Queen of England France and Ireland). Reverse: Crowned harp with legend: "POSVI DEVM ADIVTOREM MEV", (I have made God my helper). Reasonable collectable condition for type with usual weak strike on base silver, see photograph.
