Irish Edward I Waterford Penny Class Ib

Edward I (1272-1307) silver penny, Waterford mint, class Ib. Obverse: Crowned bust in triangle with trefoil of pellets on breast and pellet before "EDW" with legend: ".EDW.R.  ANGL D NS HYB.". Reverse: Long cross with three pellets in each angle and legend: "CIVITAS WATERFOR'". Comes with ticket and envelope bought at Cumberland Hotel Coin Fair December 1978. Nice collectable condition on full flan with small striking chip on edge, see photograph.
