Irish Edward I Dublin Penny Class Ib

Edward I (1272-1307) silver penny, Dublin mint, class Ib. Obverse: Crowned bust in triangle with trefoil of pellets on breast and pellet before "EDW" with legend: ".EDW.R.  ANGL D NS HYB.". Reverse: Long cross with three pellets in each angle with legend: "CIVITAS DVBLINIE". Sold by Seaby as a "Contemporary Copy" but attested not a forgery by Peter Woodhead. Good collectable condition, see photograph.
