Charles I (1625-1649) silver twelve shillings, Third Coinage, Falconer's Second Issue. Obverse: Crowned bust to left slightly breaking the inner circle with "XII" indicating denomination behind head with thistle mint mark, colon stops and legend: "CAROLVS : D:G : MAGN : BRITAN : FRAN : ET : HIB : REX ". (Charles by the grace of God King of Great Britain France and Ireland). Reverse: Crown over royal shield with large Irish harp, dividing "C R" with "F" and pellet over crown, single pellet stops and thistle before legend: "QVÆ ۰ DEVS ۰ CONIVNXIT ۰ NEMO ۰ SEPARET" (What God hath joined together let no man put asunder). Reasonable collectable condition with some crimping, see photograph.
