James VI (1567-1625) copper turner (two pence) issue of 1623. Obverse: Triple thistle in centre with legend: "• IACOBVS • D • G • MAG • BRIT", (James by the grace of God of Great Britain). Reverse: Crowned lion rampant with two pellets, to indicate denomination, behind tail and legend: "• FRAN • & • HIB • REX", (France and Ireland King). Reasonable collectable condition for type, see photograph.
