James III half groat, light issue, c1482. Obverse: Facing bust with crown of four fleurs in tressure of seven arcs not extending below bust, no I above crown or A & T by neck, with legend: "+IACOBVS [DEI] GRA REX SCOTORM". Reverse: Long cross with five-pointed mullets and triple pellets in alternate quarters and legend: "[DN]S PTECTORNS [Z LIBERATU]RMS", "VILLA EDENBEOURGE".
