James III (1460-1488), silver groat (twelve pence), Light Issue III (1475), Edinburgh mint. Obverse: Tressure of ten arcs with facing bust, crown of three tall fleurs, mm cross pattée with double saltire stops. Reverse: Long cross with six-pointed pierced mullets in first and third quarters, triple pellets in second and fourth quarters, legend with double saltire stops, obverse 5, reverse C. Reasonable condition for type, has been clipped, see photograph.
