Robert III (1390-1406), silver groat, Heavy Coinage (1390-1403), Second Issue, Edinburgh mint, double annulet stops and annulets in the spandrils. Obverse: Crowned long faced bust in tressure of seven arcs, trefoils on cusps with legend: "ROBERTVS DEI GRA REX SCOTTORVM". Reverse: Long cross with three pellets in each quarter and legend: "+DNS F TETOR MS F LIDATORMS", "VILLA EDINBVBGH", note "B" used for "R" in "EDINBVRGH". Reasonable collectable condition with a weak strike from rusty dies, see photograph.
