Robert III (1390-1406), silver groat (four pence), heavy coinage (1390-1403), first issue, Edinburgh mint. Obverse: crowned facing bust within tressure of seven arcs with triple pellets at cusps and lis and crescent stops with legend: "+ROBERTVS DEI GRA REX SCOTORVM". Reverse: Long cross with three pellets in each quarter and legends: "+DNS PTECTOR MS F LIBATORMS", "VILLA EDINBVRGH". Reasonable collectable condition with a small edge nick, see photograph.
