groat (two pence), second coinage (1357-1367), Class
"C2" older head, Edinburgh mint, obverse,
reverse. Obverse: Crowned bust to left with sceptre,
tressure of six arcs, nothing in spandrils, plain and
ornamental "A" with single cross stops in
legend. Reverse: Long cross with mullets of five points
with pierced centres in each quarter, plain "A"
in "VILLA", one double cross stop at end of
legend and "D below "V" in first quarter.
