Alexander III (1249-1286), silver penny, second coinage, class E2/E. Letters with incurved uprights and wedge-tailed "R". Four stars of six points giving a total of twenty-four points thus indicating a supposed mint town of Berwick. Good collectable condition but reverse cross shadow on obverse, with professional restoration, see photograph.
