Alexander III Roxburgh Penny Class "Mb2/D" Mule

Alexander III (1249-1286), silver penny, second coinage, class Mb2/D mule. Three mullets of six points and one star of seven points giving a total of twenty-five points thus indicating a supposed mint town of Roxburgh. Reasonable collectable condition with a light strike in centres and professional restoration, see photograph.
