Alexander III (1249-1286), first coinage silver penny, type V, Edinburgh Mint, moneyer Wilam. Obverse: Tall thin head to left with legend: "ALEXANDER REX". Reverse: Long voided cross with stars in quarters: "WILAM ON E". Good collectable condition with weak strike on bust, see photograph.
