Alexander III (1249-1286), First Coinage silver penny, type IIId, Berwick Mint, moneyer Robert. Obverse: Neat bust left with small crown: "ALEXANDER REX". Reverse: Long voided cross with stars in quarters: "ROB ER. TON BE.". Burns 21b, Fig. 140B same dies. Reasonable collectable condition, see photograph.
