George VI Festival of Britain Crown 1951


George VI (1936-1952) crown (five shillings) dated 1951. Issued to commemorate the Festival of Britain that year. Edge inscription: “MDCCCLI CIVIUM INDUSTRIA FLORET CIVITAS MCMLI”, (By the industry of it’s people the state flourishes 1851-1951). Beautiful condition with almost proof-like fields, comes with official presentation box and leaflet, see photograph.
