Edward IV second reign (1471-1483) silver hammered groat, mint mark heraldic cinquefoil (1480-1483), minted in London. Obverse: Facing bust with cinquefoil on breast, no marks by neck, tressure of nine arcs with fleurs on cusps and double and single saltire stops in legend: "*EDWARD DI xx GRA x REX x ANGL x Z FRANC". Reverse: Long cross with three pellets in each quarter, single saltire stops, rose after "DEVM" and at end of legend: "*POSVIx | DEVM*A | DIVTOR | ExMEVM*" and "CIVI | TAS | LON| DON". Ex-Warkworth School Hoard, comes with British Museum envelope and identification. Nice collectable condition, see photograph.
