Doncaster New Betting Rooms silver pass dated 1800. Obverse: View of elaborate Georgian building with legend: "NEW BETTING ROOMS DONCASTER". Reverse: View of two horses racing  at full gallop with legend: "ESTABLISHED 1800". Plain edge. Doncaster is one of the earliest established horse racing courses in Britain and the New Betting Rooms were situated on Doncaster High Street. Good collectable condition with piercing for suspension, see photograph.
