Leeds (Yorkshire) copper halfpenny mule token dated
1791. Obverse: Standing figure of Bishop Blaize (patron saint of
woolcombers) holding a book in his right hand and a chalice in his
left with legend: “SUCCESS TO THE WOOLLEN MANUFACTORY.”. Reverse: Coat
of arms of three stars and a hanging fleece, crested by an owl with
legend: “LEEDS
HALFPENNY 1791”. Edge inscription: “PAYABLE IN ANGLESEY LONDON OR
LIVERPOOL”. Good collectable condition with the usual die flaw
