Extremely Rare Hallan's Birmingham Halfpenny 1792

Extremely rare Hallan’s Birmingham (Warwickshire) copper halfpenny token dated 1792. Obverse: Crude letters in concentric legend with a dove on olive branch in centre: “*DEALER IN CHINA AND STAFFORDSHIRE WARE IN ALL ITS BRANCHES: NO. 2 BULLRING. BR.”. Reverse: Legend in crude letters on eight lines: “HALFPENNY PAYABLE AT THE INTELLIGENCE OFFICE FOR MASTERS AND SERVANTS KEPT BY WM. HALLEN 1792”. Engrailed edge. Listed in Dalton & Hamer as: “RRR - EXTREMELY RARE”. In addition to his china and glass business, Hallan also ran a registry office for servants. Nice collectable condition for type, see photograph.
