Obverse: Front view of a house with a veranda, a shop front to the left and a private entrance to the right with legend: “FISHER'S LIBRARY AND LOUNGE 1796”. Reverse: Legend on five lines between floral ornaments: “PROSPERITY TO THE GENTRY WHO VISIT EAST-BOURN”. Edge inscription: “CELEBRATED FOR PURE AIR & SEA BATHING .+.+.”.
