Niblock's Bristol Auctioneers Halfpenny 1795

Niblock & Hunter’s Bristol (Somerset) copper halfpenny token dated 1795. Obverse: A hooped packing case, marked “NBH No. 1”, surmounted by a leopard crest with legend: “GENERAL COMMISSION & PUBLIC SALE ROOM BRIDGE STREET BRISTOL”. Reverse: A standing blindfolded figure of Justice holding scales in her right hand and an auctioneer’s hammer in her left and legend: PAYABLE AT NIBLOCK & HUNTER’S 1795”. Plain Edge. Niblock & Hunter were auctioneers in Bristol. Lovely collectable condition, see photograph.
