John Harvey’s Norwich (Norfolk) copper Conder halfpenny token dated 1792. Obverse: The Arms of the City of Norwich consisting of a lion below a triple-towered castle with legend: “1792”. Reverse: A detailed view of a weaver working in a box loom with a filling wheel on the right. Edge inscription: “JOHN HARVEY OF NORWICH .XXXX.”. John Harvey was the Mayor of Norwich during the year these tokens were struck. Nice collectable condition, see photograph.
