Robert Campin's Haberdasher Norwich Halfpenny 1794

Robert Campin’s Norwich (Norfolk) copper halfpenny token dated 1794. Obverse: A bent stocking, glove and crossed knife and fork with legend: “R CAMPIN HABERDASHER GOAT LANE NORWICH”. Reverse: Britannia seated on a box with her right hand resting on a globe, her left elbow leaning on an anchor, a Union Jack shield on her breast and a crowned lion at her feet with legend: “HALFPENNY 1794”. Edge inscription: “CURRENT EVERY WHERE”. Robert Campin was a haberdasher with a business in Goat Lane, Norwich. Good collectable condition, see photograph.
