Richard Bacon’s Norwich (Norfolk) copper halfpenny token dated 1794. Obverse: View of Norwich Castle, bridge and gardens with legend: “NORWICH CASTLE.”. Reverse: Hanging sheep or fleece with legend: “GOOD TIMES WILL COME. MDCCXCIV.”. Edge inscription: “RICHARD BACON COCKEY LANE”. Richard Bacon was a printer, stationer, auctioneer and sworn appraiser with a business at No. 12 Cockey Lane, Norwich.
