Extremely rare Norwich (Norfolk) copper halfpenny token dated 1794. Obverse: View of Norwich Castle, bridge and gardens with legend: “NORWICH CASTLE”. Reverse: Hanging sheep or fleece with legend: “GOOD TIMES WILL COME MDCCXCIV”. Plain edge. Listed in Dalton & Hamer as: "RRR - EXTREMELY RARE". The reverse legend refers to the defeats in the war abroad and the genuine fear of possible invasion. Reasonable collectable condition, see photograph.
