Handel's Benevolent Choral Fund London Halfpenny 1791

Handel's London (Middlesex) copper Conder halfpenny token dated 1791. Obverse: Profile to the left of the famous composer Handel with legend: “I KNOW THAT MY REDEEMER LIVETH G. F. HANDEL”. Reverse: Legend and date on four lines in centre and also around circumference: “BENEVOLENT CHORAL FUND INSTITUTED 1791 FOR ITS DECAY’D WIDOWS AND ORPHANS”. Plain edge. Good collectable condition for type with a couple of light scratches and the usual weak strike in centres, see photograph.
