Handel's London (Middlesex) copper Conder halfpenny token dated 1791. Obverse: Profile to the left of the famous composer Handel with legend: “I KNOW THAT MY REDEEMER LIVETH • G. F. HANDEL”. Reverse: Legend and date on four lines in centre and also around circumference: “BENEVOLENT CHORAL FUND INSTITUTED 1791 • FOR ITS DECAY’D WIDOWS AND ORPHANS”. Plain edge.
