Kilvington's Brunswick London Halfpenny 1795

Kilvington’s London (Middlesex) copper Conder halfpenny token dated 1795. Obverse: Laureate bust facing left, the tip of the laurel comes under the “T”: “PAYABLE AT J. KILVINGTONS”. Reverse: Figure of Britannia: “BRUNSWICK HALFPENNY 1795”. Engrailed edge. The issuer was probably John Kilvington, a grocer and tea dealer at No. 153 Drury Lane, London. Good collectable condition with slightly uneven colour, see photograph.
