Scarce Forster's God Save the King London Halfpenny 1795

Scarce William Forster's London (Middlesex) copper halfpenny token dated 1795. Obverse: Prince of Wales' feathers in centre with double legend: “WM FORSTER VIOLIN TENOR & VIOLINCELLO MAKER * No. 348 STRAND LONDON.”. Reverse: Crown in centre surrounded by the sheet music for the National Anthem, with legend: “GOD SAVE THE KING 1795”. Plain edge. Listed in Bell's “Tradesmen's Tickets and Private Tokens” as "SCARCE".  William Forster manufactured musical instruments with his business located on the Strand, London. Nice collectable condition with some original lustre remaining not picked up in photograph, see photograph.
