Scarce Bebbington's Umbrella London Halfpenny

Scarce John Bebbington's London (Middlesex) copper Conder halfpenny token undated. Obverse: Laureate bust to right with legend: "LONDON & MIDDLESEX HALFPENNY.". Reverse: Shield bearing the three feathers badge of the Prince of Wales surmounted by an open umbrella and legend: "FOR. CHANGE. NO. FRAUD. JOHN. BEBBINGTON.". Plain edge. Listed in Bell's "Commercial Coins. 1787-1804" as "SCARCE". John Bebbington appears to have been an umbrella manufacturer with premises at 8 City Road, London. Nice collectable condition with usual light strike in centres, see photograph.
