Scarce Edinburgh (Lothian) copper Conder farthing token dated 1792. Obverse: St Andrew with cross between thistles: “NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT 1792”. Reverse: Anchor attached to cable: “HOPEFUL FARTHING”. Diagonally milled edge. Listed in Bell's "Specious Tokens and those struck for General Circulation" as "SCARCE". Good collectable condition for type with slightly weak strike in places, see photograph.
