Leith (Lothian) copper Conder halfpenny token dated 1797. Leith is the port of Edinburgh. Obverse: Sailing ship above sprigs of leaves: "LEITH HALFPENNY". Reverse: Britannia seated holding spear and palm branch: "LEITH HALFPENNY". Edge inscription: "PAYABLE IN LEITH EDINBURGH & GLASGOW". Good collectable condition, cleaned in the past and now toning out, see photograph.
