Hutchison's Edinburgh (Lothian) copper halfpenny token dated 1792. Obverse: St Andrew holding saltire cross with thistles either side with legend: "NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT. 1792". Reverse: Edinburgh Coat of Arms beneath anchor with thistles either side and legend: "EDINBURGH HALFPENNY.". Edge inscription: "PAYABLE AT THE WAREHOUSE OF THOS. & ALEXR. HUTCHISON". Thomas and Alexander Hutchison were Edinburgh merchants with a business in the High Street, Edinburgh. Nice collectable condition with slightly uneven colour and a small stain on reverse, see photograph.
