Edinburgh (Lothian) copper Conder halfpenny token dated 1791. Obverse: St Andrew holding saltire cross with thistles either side and legend: "NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSET. 1791". Reverse: Edinburgh Coat of Arms beneath anchor with thistles either side and legend: "EDINBURGH HALFPENNY.". Edge inscription: "PAYABLE. IN HULL AND IN LONDON -XX-". Ex-Spence, Fawcett-Litman and Lincoln Collections, bought Glendinings 12-13 February 1936. Nice collectable condition, see photograph.
