Rare Lancaster (Lancashire) copper Conder farthing token dated 1792. Obverse: Crowned bust of John of Gaunt to the left with legend: “* IOHN OF GAUNT DUKE OF LANCASTER”. Reverse: Shield of lis and lion with legend: “LANCASTER HALF HALFPENNY 1792”. Straight milled edge. These farthings were manufactured by Westwood, Birmingham. Listed in Dalton & Hamer as “R - RARE”.
