Ceylon Company Ltd. St. Sebastian Mills Colombo, Ceylon (Sri Lanka) 2¼ pence token, undated. Obverse: Elephant in centre with legend: “CEYLON COMPANY LIMITED”. Reverse: “A” in centre with legend: “ST SEBASTIAN MILLS”. Plain edge. This was manufactured in England about 1866. The Ceylon Company owned the St. Sebastian Mills for coffee and Grandpass for tea production. Good collectable condition with flat reverse, see photograph.
