Clyde Iron Works Glasgow (Lanarkshire) uniface copper token, undated. Obverse: View of iron blast furnace with flames emitting from the top and legend: “CLYDE IRON WORKS HIRES”. Clyde Iron Works had their head office at 92 West George Street Glasgow and were general iron merchants. Apparently "HIRES" should read "WIRES". Ex-MacMillan Collection.
