Extremely Rare Thomas Bridson's Bolton Farthing


Extremely rare Thomas Bridson's Bolton (Lancashire) farthing token undated. Obverse: Initials in centre: "TB". Reverse: View of an elephant supporting a castle with legend below: "GALLOWAY BOLTON". Plain edge. Listed in Withers' "The Token Book 2" as "RRR - EXTREMELY RARE". Thomas Bridson was a dyer and bleacher whereas Taylor and Galloway were brass founders and manufacturers of the token.  Ex-Brian Dawson Collection. Good collectable condition, see photograph.
