Charles Hadduck's Birmingham (Warwickshire) brass farthing token dated 1840. Obverse: Bust of Chinese native with draped hat with legend: "CHAS HADDUCK ASHTED ROW 1840". Reverse: Tea canister labelled "FINE TEA" with legend: "DEALER IN TEA COFFEE • & • PROVISIONS". Plain edge. Charles Hadduck was a grocer and tea provision dealer in Ashstead Row, Birmingham and was in business until 1868 or 1868. Nice collectable condition, see photograph.
