Charles II (1649-1685) Scottish copper Bawbee (sixpence) dated 1679. This is the very rare counterfeit given its own catalogue number by Spink. It has a distinctly different bust and cruder lettering of different sizes. The normal issue was struck en medaille (with dies 180 degrees out of alignment) however this is struck in normal rotation.
