Charles I (1625-1649) silver twenty pence, Falconer's issue, "F" above crown on reverse. Obverse: Crowned bust to left with "XX" indicating denomination behind the head. Legend: "CAR D G SCOT ANG FR ET HIB R" (Charles by the grace of God King of Scotland England France and Ireland). Reverse: Crown over thistle. Legend: "IVST THRONVM FIRMAT" (Justice strengthens the throne). Good collectable condition for type, slightly off-centre, see photograph. Spink No: 5589. Diameter 16mm.
