Mary Queen of Scots (1542-1567) Scottish plack (four pence), dated 1557. Obverse: Crowned shield dividing "MR", legend: "MARIA DEI G SCOTOR REGINA 1557", (Mary by the grace of God Queen of Scots 1557). Reverse: Ornate cross with a cross in the centre panel and a crown in each angle, legend: "SERVIO ET VSV TEROR 1557", (I serve and am worn by use 1557). Poor collectable condition with perforation and heavily cleaned, see photograph. Spink No: S.5437. Diameter 20mm.
