Robert II (1371-1390), silver groat (four pence), crowned bust to left, star at base of sceptre, trefoils within tressure of six arcs. Perth mint: "VILLA DE PERTH". Phase 2a as evidenced by the characteristic "A" in "VILLA" and the large Phase 2 "T" with sloping base. Good collectable condition for type on unusually large flan with a little golden toning in legends, see photograph. Spink No: S.5136. Diameter 28mm.
