Robert II (1371-1390), silver groat (four pence), crowned bust, star at base of sceptre, trefoils within tressure of six arcs. Edinburgh mint: "VILLA DE EDINBVRGH". Early Phase 1a group of dies issued before the Perth mint reopened evidenced by the "B" and "R" punches which were used in David II's Third Coinage series along with the distinctive Phase 1 "A" on the reverse.
