William the Lion (1165-1214), silver cut halfpenny, Phase B, Class VI, Walter Adam moneyer with no mint name. These were officially cut at the mint prior to issue to provide small change for circulation. Obverse: Bust left: "+[LE] REI WIVVEL [AM]". Reverse: "+VVAV [TER EH]". Reasonable collectable condition, see photograph.
