William the Lion (1165-1214), silver cut halfpenny, Phase B, Class III, Hue Walter moneyer with no mint name. These were officially cut at the mint prior to issue to provide small change for circulation. Obverse: Bust left: "+[LE RE] I WILAM". Reverse: "[HV] E WALTE] R". Reasonable collectable condition, see photograph.
